Description
Please Please Me/Ask Me Why by The Beatles on Parlophone 45-R 4983.
Vinyl has some light scratches and the occasional mark but nothing too heavy although there are quite a few hairlines visible when viewed under a halogen light.
Plays well with no skips or jumps. There is some light crackle on the 'A' side which does not detract from sound and more noticeable crackle on the 'B' side.
Both labels are clean and bright with a name and an asterisk written on 'A' side(see photo).
Numbers/letters are: -
'A' side MPT2 (number is indistinct but I am pretty sure it is a 2) to the left with letters GH to the right.
'B' side MPT2 to the left and GA to the right. Matrix Nos. are 7XCE 17217 1N and 7XCE 17218 1N.
Supplied in "stripey" Parlophone sleeve.
I am conscious that this is quite desirable and have probably focused too much on the negatives as a result but overall it is a nice collectable copy that is only being sold because I have acquired an even better one!
Reasonable starting price with no reserve.
