VG+ TO EX
The 1-'EMI' Box 'Parlophone' label was the successor to the yellow PARLOPHONE label in the UK. It was in service for only a year or so before being replaced by the 2-EMI Box 'Parlophone' label.
All 1-box editions were originally distributed with foldback sleeves (most tri-foldback, others bi-foldback). The LP slipcovers were white with sepia-tint images of other titles from EMI. Although not pictured, this auction item includes the sepia-tint LP slipcover (in VG+ to EX condition)
The sleeve of this item bears a small 'stereo' notation on the sleeve-front which is less common than sleeves with the larger and more familiar 'stereo' logo types.
CONDITION
VINYL - PLAY
Playback integrity is very good on both sides. No skips or sticks (t/table arm is very light).
VINYL - VISUAL
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ to EX- (depending on one's personal definition of each grading). The platter is flat and undished. Only the lightest of handling marks and paper scuffs are visible.
