Original, 1st press Mono Vinyl LP
(To be clear: I am offering this original gold/black Please Please Me with its original 1st press sleeve - which is only in Fair condition, plus a 3rd press sleeve, in Very Good- condition.)
Parlophone (gold/black labels, with Dick James Mus. Co. publishing credits - see pics of labels for details)

Side 1 MT tax code is stamped in the middle of label
Matrix Codes/Mother Stampers:
Side 1: XEX 421-1N. The number 1 is stamped at 9 o'clock
Side 2: XEX 422-1N. The numbers 1 1 are at 10 o'clock
Condition:
Vinyl/Labels : Good
Side 1 is in VG condition, with some faint, superficial hairlines visible under harsh light. Side 2 has a more prominent hairline and some light scuff marks across four tracks. However, the record plays well throughout to a very good standard, with no skips/jumps, just occasional background on some quieter sections and a little in between tracks. Overall, a very enjoyable listen without major faults, music powerful and clear.
Original 1st Press Laminated Flipback Sleeve: Fair condition.
The front is in Good condition, with quite a bit of laminate creasing; the rear has old sellotape scuffs/marks and the bottom flipback is damaged, causing a seam split - see pics. The sleeve could be tidied up, but I have also included a slightly later third press sleeve, the only difference between them being the positioning of the Angus McBean photo credit, which is less than 5 mm from opening edge in bottom right corner - see pics.
Third Press - Laminated Flipback Sleeve/Original "Use Emitex" inner : VG-
Non-excessive storage/handling wear, with light creasing and a little edge wear/corner wear. The spine is still completely intact. There is a scuff to the laminate at the bottom of the "H" in THE. All text, graphics and colours sharp and strong. (The photo credit to Angus McBean is more than 5mm from opening edge - see close up photo. This is the only differentiation from the original 1st press sleeve.) The flipbacks on the rear sleeve are all intact. The credit : "Printed & Made by Ernest J. Day Co. Ltd. London" can be seen in bottom right corner. The inner sleeve is in Ex condition, with no real faults to mention, just a bit of light creasing.

Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, to prevent seam splits. I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.
