FULL PLAYGRADE TO FOLLOW.
This is a rare sixth pressing of the Beatles' debut album. I played it all the way through after RCM cleaning it and it sounded fine, but I wasn't fully concentrating so I will add a comprehensive playgrade to this listing over the next few days.
The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover is very good with just a couple of creases to the laminated front and a small scuff to the top flipback on the reverse (just after the first "Please"). The spine is excellent. The label on side one has a slight misprint in that the grey/silver text has dropped down so the "33.3RPM" and "STEREO" text is printed over the yellow Parlophone logo (see photos).
I ship overseas - please email for prices.

PLAYGRADE UPDATE
I have now closely listened to the whole LP.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable with Glanz MC cartridge, pre/power amps and Castle speakers.
Side one starts with some minor surface noise to the run-in groove. This surface noise is present between tracks. Tracks one, two and three play fine. There is a light scratch that runs across the final 4 tracks and this produces a higher level of background noise including some light to medium clicks. It’s most noticeable between tracks but, while it’s present during the songs themselves, it’s largely hidden in the mix and rarely intrusive in my opinion. I found it easy to ignore and listen through. Side two has light surface noise to the run-in groove, between tracks and to the quiet intro of track 4 – the rest of the tracks on this side play fine.
