Description
Original Parlophone release from 1963, catalogue no.PMC1202. I believe this is a 'second pressing', you can decide this from examining the labels.
Matrix number to run off groove on side 1 is XEX421-1N. Tax code is MT. Stamp on the right side of run off looks like CL.
Matrix number to run off groove on side 2 is XEX422-1N. Stamp on left hand side of run off looks like 09.
Sleeve has stain to bottom corner and a chunk missing to the bottom left hand corner of the back. Title still clearly visible on spine, wear to corners, grade POOR. Emitex inner sleeve is very clean.
Clean label to side 1, some spindle wear to side 2.
The record has been played a lot! It lies perfectly flat on the turntable but there are many needle marks across the record in addition to needle wear that has been made as the record has been played. Many would grade this as GOOD but FAIR would be nearer the mark. Despite the wear the record does NOT jump. At a normal sound level it plays amazingly well with only the few light clicks and pops. You hear hissing between tracks when you turn the volume up. Obviously the record has lost some of it's original sharpness but it is still very listenable.

GRADING: I grade all my records in line with the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide's 'Grading Ready Reckoner', a universally accepted grading system. I am very strict, my VG will be many peoples' EX. I very rarely use MINT and anything listed as NEAR MINT will not have any needle marks.
PACKAGING: All records are posted in purpose made card envelopes with a stiffner. The record is removed from the outer sleeve and put in another sleeve for extra protection and to avoid splitting the original sleeve in transport. More valuable record will be boxed for even greater protection.
