Description
Mega rare early UK pressing of the Beatles debut. The very first issue on the yellow and black Parlophone label. Much rarer than the first black and gold labels. This is the even harder to find earlier issue without the small 33 1/3 RPM - The rarest of all the Please Please Me pressings.
Sleeve is still vibrant and colourful but there is considerable creasing and a few grubby marks. There is a tear on the back corner and the spine has a tiny bit of wear but it is intact - see photos. The EMITEX original inner has a few creases, a little yellowing and a side split but pretty good for over 50 years old. The vinyl has numerous marks and a few long scratches on side 2 but thankfully 60s mono vinyl is tough stuff and loud, so although there is a little surface noise between songs, the music shines throughout and it sounds great all the way through on my record player. Not perfect by any means, but a great player and you will be hard pushed to find another copy at this price!
The record shall be sent to the lucky winner very well packaged. Collection welcomed. I DO NOT COMBINE POSTAGE AND I ONLY SEND REGISTERED! Shipping to UK is £4.95 signed for, to the EU is £13 tracked and rest of the world is £19 tracked. If you are not happy with the postage costs please do NOT bid without contacting me. Any questions please ask.
Many thanks for looking.
