Description

THE BEATLES-PLEASE PLEASE ME

PARLOPHONE-PCS 3042-STEREO-1963.

Classic first LP from The Beatles, that still sounds fresh today, as it did all those years ago, proving they can stand the test of time.
This is the first Parlophone Black and Yellow Stereo issue, with the Parlophone Co Ltd writing around the outer ring of the label. For some odd reason its in a first press MONO sleeve(With the Angus McBean credit) and flip back cover(I suspect it was swapped at some stage of its life)

Condition: Cover is Good to VG Minus, it shows obvious signs of wear, but still very much intact, as are spine and seams, with a small amount of lifting on flip backs(See picture)
Vinyl is VG minus, a few surface marks, but the LP plays through well, with only some crackle in between tracks, and I have played this through from start to finish to check. Comes in its original 'Stylus care' inner sleeve.

Any questions, please feel free to message me.

Overseas postage, please contact me for cost.

Thanks for looking, good luck.

ADDITIONAL INFO:This pressing contains the rare MZT tax code round the spindle on side 2, just off the 12 o'clock position, which is usually found on B&G Parlophone.

Side 2's label is in better condition than the picture actually shows, as it has been magnified by the camera, and the flash has made it looks worse than it actually is, it is closer to side 1's condition.
