THE BEATLES: PLEASE PLEASE ME
An early pressing of Please Please Me in great condition. This is a Mono 5th pressing denoted by the absence of “SOLD IN THE UK..” text under “Parlophone” and inclusion of “RECORDING FIRST…” under the Matrix Number.
Housed in Ernest J Day sleeve and has an KT tax code to Side 1.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The sleeve is in superb condition. The previous owner has written his name to the top of the rear of the sleeve. There is some very light wear to the top rear flipback. The unlaminated rear is in superb condition being very clean and free from discolouration or staining. The edges are sharp and straight with the spine text being perfect and the spine being unflattened.
RECORD: VG
The heavyweight vinyl shows a few light hairlines. There are, of course, no scratches or feelable marks. The record plays through superbly with very light background audible during a couple of passages.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
