Description
THE BEATLES, Please Please Me, RARE 4th press, mono, original vinyl.
A chance to own the legendary debut album in a rare form.
There was lots of changes to the design on the label - this version is without 'Recording First Published 1963' which was soon added to copies. This one isn't commonly found. It's from my own personal collection which I am now downsizing.
I'll give a detailed breakdown so you know what you're getting:
The cover is good, strong and sturdy with flipbacks in tact. No splits - just a little wear to the side opening and a very small tear there (about half an inch, bottom right). A name is written on the back. The inner is a little worn, but good for its age. A few creases but no tears.
The vinyl labels are good, a little spindle wear but nothing too bad. Side 2 has a few light marks where someone has maybe added (and removed?) a sticker of some sort. The vinyl visually is good, a few expected scuffs and hairlines but nothing too bad. It plays fine.
This copy has been used, but obviously looked after over the years.
Matrixes are XEX 421-1 / 422-1. Stamps are 1/MD and 1/AM.
Thanks for looking.
*Please note that the postage quoted (2nd class signed) is for the UK only. Anywhere else and obviously that's subject to change*
