Very first issue.
EJD sleeve, with the very much lower Angus McBean credit on the right hand side, these were later changed & were printed higher...
Close to ex condition sleeve , a little aged, over 51 years so not surprised!, no writing damage. Great sheen to the front.
As you can see from the photos the labels are in a very clean strong ex condition, no damage... I understand that due to the wide outer groove on the side 1 label, this really is one of the earliest pressings.... There were only ever 25 thousand pressed anyway as very first issues, as this one is... But as explained this is one of the earliest because of the groove. "Dick James Mus co" publishing credits.
The heavy vinyl is still housed in its original "use emitex" inner bag, ex condition no splits, nice & clean.
The vinyl is very clean looking, has not been overplayed ,& very well cared for, some light marks only. Plays & sounds fantastic. You don't usually see them like this, so often they are wrecked... Not this one... As close to excellent condition vinyl you would except.
