THE BEATLES Please please me PARLOPHONE 7-inch ‘Red Label’ 45-R 4983!
Original 1963 UK 7-inch single, with company sleeve.
1st Issue, with no 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' on labels.
Released on the PARLOPHONE Label.
Catalogue number: 45-R 4983.
Matrix Numbers read:
A-side: 7XCE-17217-1N.
B-side: 7XCE-17218-1N.
Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD+/GOOD CONDITION (*Plays FINE/VERY GOOD)
Clean presentable sleeve, displays light cosmetic storage wear and light touches of foxing/soiling.
Has no rips/tears, no seem splits and no deep lined creases, grades VERY GOOD+ condition.
Labels are damaged on both sides, with tears evident on the company names.
Surfaces retain a reasonable sheen on both sides, however this is dulled to a degree.
Both sides exhibits excessive scuffing and markings, however there are no bad, deep heavy marks.
There is nothing you can feel and all are mainly smooth soft, hairline/fine line types on the A-side.
B-side, scuffs/marks appear somewhat more aggressive, but again prominently similar in nature to the A-side.
Record grades visually GOOD.
*Record tested plays Fine/VERY GOOD on both sides.
Overall music cuts through with no noticeable overshadowing, some surface noise apparent on run in grooves and ends.
Some intermittent low level background surface noise evident in places when played on both sides.
More than suitable as a playing copy.
