LET IT BE
ORIGINAL 1970 1ST PRESSING LP
CAT. NO PCS 7096
Format: Stereo
Master Matrices: YEX 773-2U/ YEX 774-2U
1st Pressing with original red Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve and first ever 2U/ 2U matrices.
Sleeve: Original sleeve in a Very Good condition retaining its structure. Very clean with no writing imprints etc. The laminate is still glossy, colourful and uncreased. The spine is intact and has readable text. Has lasted remarkably well. The opening side has significant edge wear, and the name ‘Ray’ is neatly written in blue ball-point pen on the inside of the sleeve near the opening edge.
Inner Sleeve: Original Apple Sleeve in perfect condition, a piece of history in itself.
The Vinyl: In Excellent Condition or better. The surfaces are smooth and groove wear free, still projecting a bright pressing shine on both sides. Showing very minimal play use in terms of just the occasional extremely light and fine wispy hairline, has smooth clean surfaces, no scuffs, no warps etc. The disc has less seen than the usual amount of use.
Lays completely flat on the turntable.
The Labels: Excellent condition. No noticeable wear to the spindle perimeter, but with a few light spindle location lines/ marks, but no writing etc.
Mothers/ Stampers combinations:
Side 1 - 18 ML
Side 2 - 5 OM
The Audio: An Excellent or better sounding copy. Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with immense detail and crisp and clear vocals. No interruption or defects over the audio. There is only what you would expect to be noticeable in terms of the occasional very light tick almost impossible hear but not over any audio. A lucid stereo sound. No crackle, jumps, skips, pops, or sticks.
