Condition:
Sleeve: VERY GOOD++ : Please keep in mind that this offering is 48 years old.
In really nice condition throughout. The laminated front of this Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve has some light edge creasing to the laminate, but nothing serious. The rear flip-back seams are all intact and in great condition. Naturally, there is some light age discolouration and light handing marks generally, but the sleeve is totally free of unwanted stickers and writing.
Inner sleeve is the EMITEX poly lined type, in bright and clean condition but with some minor wear to the opening edges. One side has a 6cm split, and the sleeve is totally unmarked and free of writing.
Record: EXCELLENT : The vinyl is graded very highly. Under very bright lights you will detect several light and wispy hairlines - which you would probably not detect under normal light. The labels are bright, clean and unmarked and showing only very light spindle wear. Side 1 label clearly shows the "KT" tax mark embossed.
Plays exceptionally well, with no skips or jumps. Some light background static noise between some tracks if you listen very carefully, but nothing that will spoil your enjoyment of the extraordinary MONO sound quality.
A very collectable 1st PRESSING in original Mono sound from 1966.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
