Description
Up for auction is a very nice, clean original pressing of The Beatles album Revolver, originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (ST-2576) in 1966:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -Original black Capitol labels w/ rainbow rim -No subsidiary on label rim Matrix deadwax reads: ST-1-2576-A1 ST-2-2576-A5 -IAM triangle, Scranton, PA pressing
-Original paste down cover w/ matte black rear -RIAA 6 on back cover
-Original and correct light orange inner sleeve -Vinyl comes in audiophile protective inner sleeve
Condition: Cover looks great with only faint signs of wear. No significant ring wear, just some faint rubbing bottom middle. Seams are nice, not splits. Spine is nice, letter legible. Back is beautiful--nice and black, no rubbing wear, which is very hard to find this clean. Former owner's name written up right (see photo). Overall, beautifully preserved original. Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl also looks great, still retains its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial hairlines from taking vinyl out of inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks or wear to spindle holes. Looks like this record has maybe been played only a couple times but handled with care. Audio quality is excellent. Grade: Excellent (EX)
