All of my records That I'm selling are from my own personel collection that I have collected and cherished for over 40 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard.
Vinyl Condition: NM Visually the vinyl on both sides are Superb and just amazing to see it Unmarked and in near Perfect Pristine Condition - This early 1st Press Vinyl at least has not been played to death and destruction like most that you come across - This one has been Barely played probably just a few times at the most looking at the spindle hole area on both sides it's very evident that it has only been played only a very minimal amount of times very carefully over the early years and shows absolutely nothing noticable but very light useage over the last 44 years with NO needle mark scratches or any other bad or heavy marks or scuffs that I can visually see or detect on inspection - When examined on closer examination under a strong light and if being over critical it reveals nothing more than a very few and small mild light hairlines and some usual insignificant disc inner sleeve removal feint wispy light lines here and there that absolutely dosen't effect the virtually near flawless perfect audio playback (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall near mint condition on both sides) - The vinyl still retains all it's original jet black shiny deep gloss mirror like sheen and lustre - It would be very hard to find a better vinyl copy of this early 1st Mono Pressing that produces a Superb Crystal Clear Audio Playback!!!
Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 44 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean before play as to reduce further any light static crackle that is still present
AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as Near Mint - This vinyl visually looks like its not been played that much and appears to have very few light and minor blemishes across the vinyl surfaces and shows NO heavy marks or scratches still looks a Stunning near Flawless example - There are No loud Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all you may get some very very light static crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 44 year old Classic that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynanmic Mono Audio performance that you would expect from a near perfect early 1st pressing!!!
Labels Condition: NM The labels being the Original Parlophone Yellow & Black labels are Stunning being in a very clean and virtually unmarked condition with very little evidence of any wear around the spindle hole - Under a bright Halogen light it just about shows a few minimal feint spider trail traces near the spindle hole on both sides but is certainly evident that when it was ever played it was carefully handled and well looked after and has only been very lightly played over its 44 year life
Cover Condition: EX+ to NM An Original Garrod & Lofthouse front Laminated picture sleeve cover - This superb cover is just exceptional and an amazing example of a well preserved cover showing all its original Bold and Vibrant colours like its near on 'Perfect' - That's totally intact with sharp straight edges and excellent pointed corners - The cover looks to be virtually Unmarked - Flat crisp and incredibly clean and shows NO obvious edge wear or laminate lifting with all its original bold vivid Black & White colours covering the front of cover with the matt Black & White back sleeve that looks virtually prerfect and untouched - I'm struggling to find any fault with the cover No blemishes/marks worthwhile to mention - If I look very closely and hard there is one mild small corner crease and some very light corner scuff wear on some of the corners with a few very minimal light tiny laminate creases along the spine edge and slight mild rub wear on opening edges and that's it! and I do mean light! is not that noticable (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall exceptional condition of cover) - I'm Confident to state it's one of the best iv'e seen for a long while that's not falling apart, badly stained or written on and I would say be very hard to improve or better this cover!!!
Spine Condition: EX+ The Laminated Pinched Spine is exceptional and incredibily clean intact and virtually near perfect and does not show any noticable wear along the spine length - With all written text still showing to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded along the thin spine as if it had just been printed at the factory!!!
Inner Sleeve: EX+ The original EMI company Advertising sleeve with 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' text is immaculate and looks Suberb in an original very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over it's lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other bad Blemishes apart from some usual yellow aging tinges mainly around the edges
The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!
Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!
