THE BEATLES 'RUBBER SOUL' 1ST PRESSING ORIGINAL UK 1965 PARLOPHONE LP PMC1267 Matrix numbers XEX-579-1/580-1. This is from my personal collection. I purchased it new at age 17 or 18. There is talk of the 'Loud Cut'....all I know is that we used to get hold of a copy as soon as it arrived at the record store! If this is a first pressing it just shows I was at the front of the queue. I have just played it on my retro turntable and it sounds great despite some obvious signs of age after 54 years in my cupboard. My Dansette was not as fussy as today's experts. We did play our records often but I always cleaned them (with an Emitex cloth) and replaced them in the covers. This record has not been played by multiple owners. The cover is in very good condition with no sticky tape, just my initials in biro to prove it was mine at the party! It still has the Emitex ad inner sleeve. Please note I am not an expert and do not use their grading system. This is my record and I play it and give my honest opinion, probably more critical, as to the condition.
