"RUBBER SOUL" PARLOPHONE PMC 1267 MONO "LOUD CUT" PRESSING RELEASED 3rd December 1965
STAMPERS 3 MO 1 MA MATRICES XEX 579-1 XEX 580 -1 UK first pressing with "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" rim text and "SOLD IN THE UK" label text. Small solid mono to rear. Correct EMITEX inner sleeve. The correct tax code "KT" embossed on label .
There are some light handling / sleeve removal marks and the odd hairline. Visually this is NOT a MINT example. It is what it is. Visually well played.
Very First pressings (1965) - Mono version Visibly the same as "Second pressing" but the very first issue had a different studio mix. It can be recognised by the matrix numbers ending "-1". This is the "LOUD CUT". Withdrawn almost immediately hence its rarity.

Drive My Car Plays silently in & out. Norwegian Wood One pop at the start of the track. You Won't See Me Plays silently in & through. Nowhere Man Plays silently through. Some crackle at the end between tracks. Think for yourself. Plays silently through. The Word Plays silently through. Michelle. One softest of a singular tic else completely quiet.
What Goes On. Plays silently throughout. Girl. Another silent track. Run-ins & run-outs are silent. I'm Looking Through You. Plays silently all the way through. In My Life. Some crackle during the playback so VG. Wait. Another silent track. Quiet run ins & run outs. If I Needed Someone. Another silent track. Silent run ins & run outs. Run For Your Life. Silent through out.
Make up you own mind on this rarity.
The EMITEX inner is in great condition. See photos.
The vinyl record is housed within an extremely rare Ernest J Day flip-back sleeve which has a small solid
mono aural indicator on the rear side. Most releases featured the Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending sleeve.
The Ernest J Day sleeve is front laminated only with rounded flip overs to the rear is in original condition.
Slight tanning to rear.
The spine is straight and true with ALL the print undamaged and fully legible.
All the other seams are in similar superb condition. Minor corner bumps.
There is a loose thread on the right shoulder of John's jacket (see photo).
This was airbrushed out in most of the UK covers showing WITHOUT A DOUBT that
this is an ORIGINAL first pressing cover that came with the withdrawn "LOUD CUT"
The disc has been professionally cleaned on a high end DEGRITTER ULTRASONIC CLEANING MACHINE
and will be sent with an anti static NAGAOKA inner sleeve.
As always I have played every track in full. I cannot emphasise enough just how strong and clear the audio is, the playback is stunning.
As stated in my introduction the previous owner really knew how to look after his LPs !

- NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.
- EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
- VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable
