Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul 12" 1965 mono original Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD condition.
I have personally NEVER seen a sleeve printed the wrong way up before! How it slipped out of the factory unnoticed I do not know! I can't find much about this on the web so it could be unique! It's a true rarity and I'm sure it will look unique and amazing in any collectors collection!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - plenty of light hairlines and scratches but nothing deep or feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD.
- Side 2 - same as Side 1!
Looks well-played and could do with a clean but I've seen much worse!
Audio:
- AUDIO GRADE TO FOLLOW! PLEASE ADD THIS ITEM TO YOUR WATCHLIST AND CHECK BACK SOON FOR A FULL IN-DEPTH AUDIO GRADING!!
The original ULTRA RARE MISPRINTED mono flipback sleeve is in GOOD+/VERY GOOD- houses the record very well. The front of the sleeve has some edgewear and laminate creasing. The rear of the sleeve is discoloured due to age. It also has a faded stamp, some light pen to the flipbacks and small piece missing from the flipback. There is some laminate lift on the sleeve also. The spine is 50% readable unfortunately but it's fully intact - just has some rubbing.
