THIS IS THE FIRST TRUE PRESSING!!       
Ostensibly, this is really the first pressing, after those incorrect "loud" cut versions had been discovered and withdrawn.
The standard yellow block writing Parlophone label.
The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label now starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd."
The label DOES have "Sold in the U.K..." statement.
 This has the earlier labels of the second pressings which were Time New Roman type.
THESE ARE IMPORTANT FACTORS THE LABELS INDICATE THE CORRECT PRESSING

THE JACKET IS EXCELLENT WITH NO SPLITS -  BEING LAMINATED, THERE IS NO RING WEAR, VERY VERY LIGHT OVERALL WEAR  AND VERY MINOR CORNER BUMPING - NO WRITING OR LABELS! -  (SEE PHOTO)

SPINE IS EXCELLENT, READABLE WITH NO BUMPING TO CORNERS 

LABELS ARE VG BRIGHT WITH NEEDLE MEANDERING SCRATCHES DUE TO OLD TIME 1965 RECORD PLAYERS WITHOUT AUTOMATIC RETURN - THESE DO NOT HAMPER THE MUSIC IN ANY WAY OBVIOUSLY.

THE ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE IS PERFECT WITH NO TEARS OR DAMAGE

FINALLY ONE LAST WORD RE HAIRLINES, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY NON SEALED RECORD WITHOUT THEM, MANY HAD THEM FROM NEW. MOSTLY THEY ARE A RESULT OF STORAGE AND USE AND USUALLY HAVE LITTLE IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY. THE SAME GOES FOR BACKGROUND NOISE, UNFORTUNATELY ALL RECORDS WILL HAVE SOME AND THIS VARIES AND REFLECTS THE PRESSING QUALITY. 

Most records have production marks where someone touched or moved the vinyl while it was still semi-soft.  These marks look like smudges, but are not scratches or "paper scuffs" and do not usually sound.  Untouched vinyl from newly-opened records have these marks.

How I Grade Condition Of Discs

Mint

This means I have owned it from new or purchased from a distributors warehouse, basically it means absolutely new shape, never been played or out of its dust cover. In the case of LP's, a North American album will have to be factory sealed (anyone can reseal an album!) Take Note: European and Japaneses albums were never shrink wrapped!

Note: Being mint does not guarantee it's free of pops and clicks, many pressings especially from the US were made with very poor vinyl and in a hurry which means often there are imperfections in the pressing. As a former importer, we were often given back brand new albums due to clicks heard in the playback.

Mint Minus - No such thing, it's either mint or not.

Excellent - A disc is super clean, with no visible marks

 Excellent Plus, means it's probably mint but can't be proven by me.

Excellent minus, is a disc that is excellent except it may have some markings that do not show up in the playing

VG - A disc that is STILL in good shape, WILL have some scuffs or scratches, not in excellent shape but well worth owning. VG + and ++,a disc that is that much better than VG.
