THE BEATLES: REVOLVER 1966 MONO UK PRESSING ON PARLOPHONE Cat No. PMC 7009
Early UK mono pressing with the "Dr Robert" misprint on the sleeve but not the label, and 605-2 / 606-2 matrices. Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve. A great playing copy.
I have given a detailed description of the record and sleeve below but please also see the photos in close-up.
CONDITION OF VINYL The vinyl has retained much of its original lustre and although it has some fine lines and marks there there is nothing deep or serious. Labels are clean with some minor spindle marks and wear around the centre hole. It plays very well with no skips or sticking. Sound is rich and bright, with minimal surface noise. Play grade is EX. Overall vinyl grade is VG+.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE The laminated sleeve is generally good, and has no pen marks. It does have signs of age and use, most notably: darkened crease marks at the spine, and on the rear side a 9cm section of the flipback seam has the top surface missing - please see the close-up photos. Overall grade is VG-.
MATRIX NUMBERS XEX 605-2 RPG 6, XEX 606-2 RLG 5.
