Description

This extremely rare UK 1st issue album features the alternate "remix 11" take of "Tomorrow Never Knows" available only on mono discs that have the side 2 matrix number XEX 606-1.
PMC 7009 on Parlophone label. 1966 The Beatles MONO album "Revolver". Tracks are: Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I'm Only Sleeping, Love You To, Here There And Everywhere, Yellow Submarine, She Said She Said, Good Day Sunshine, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, Dr. Robert, I Want To Tell You, Got To Get You Into My Life, Tomorrow never Knows.
The matrix numbers are: XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-1. The mothers and stampers are: 1 M  and  1 L.
This terrific album is in very good condition. The vinyl shines beautifully and has mainly light wispy hairline marks. These have no effect at all on the play. There are a handful of slightly heavier marks but again these have no effect on the play. There are no scratches. The labels show only ever so light spindle marks. These are only visible when held up to the light, there are now deep marks and there is no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. The labels are beautifully clean and have no writing or marks.
The labels state "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD...." and "SOLD IN UK...."
The front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover is also in very good condition. There is one one centimetre tear on the bottom seam on the very right corner and a neat 2 centimetre seam split to the middle of the bottom edge. No other rips, splits or tears. There is just a handful of light laminate creases but no laminate lifting or peeling. The spine is lovely and has no crushing. The opening edges are lovely and have no fraying. The back has no heavy handling marks and has just a partial light ring wear mark. Nothing bad.
Great and very rare album.
