This 1st press is on the original silver and black EMI PARLOPHONE label. It is complete with the FACTORY SAMPLE sticker on both LPs. It is also complete with the original inner sleeves and the earliest laminated gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or marks or any signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of wispy marks on both sides. The Parlophone label is completely clean. The black is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation.
The plain original inner sleeves are in Near Mint condition. The white is very clean and bright and the edges are firm. They are like new.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are vivid. The laminate is sensational. There is just slight corner wear. The back is also unworn and perfect and the spine is firm with sharp text. The whole sleeve has it original gloss and is still extremely solid.
