Description

Up for auction is a nice, original copy of The Beatles' Second Album, originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (T 2080) in 1964.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-T1/T2 stampers in run-out matrix
-Original Mono pressing

-No song times on label for "Long Tall Sally" & "I Call Your Name"
-Original paste-down cover
-Heavy inflexible vinyl

Condition:
Cover is very good, with light wear.  Front is very nice, no ring wear, just some light rubbing top right title lettering.  Back looks clean with some rubbing top middle lettering.  Seams are nice, no splits.  Still a nicely preserved copy.  Grade: a strong Very Good Plus (VG+).

Vinyl is also nice, still retains much of its original shine.  Does have several light hairlines on both sides, nothing deep or serious--nothing that can be felt or that affects the quality of the playback, which is excellent.  Labels are clean, unmarked.

Play-Tested: When played in the recommended Mono Mode, the record sounds excellent, full-bodied mono fidelity.  No significant distractions, no loud pops or skips.  Nice record.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
