INNER SLEEVE:

The special Fool inner sleeve, included in the early pressings of the LP, featured a multi-

coloured psychedelic pattern designed by the Fool.

The Fool inner sleeve remains in very good + condition with just a bit of creasing, no splitting or discolouration.

A Day in the Life

OUTER SLEEVE:

Original PETER BLAKE outer gatefold sleeve, printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.

This is the much sought after WIDE SPINE sleeve, fully laminated.

The width of the spine is around 7 to 8 mm see picture.

The sleeve remains very clean and shiny both inside and outside, with just a slight sign of some small creases here and there. No writing, splitting, rubbing, ring marking, just a very small piece on the back where something may have caught it removing just about one millimetre of the red laminate. this hardly showes.

I grade this sleeve as Very Good Plus.

LABEL:

Original Black and Yellow Parlophone labels remain in excellent clean condition, No scuffing staining or unwanted names or writing.

No fading or staining ( again the pictures are of the actual album cover and vinyl.

Visual Vinyl Condition:

Both sides of the vinyl are visually excellent, with just a hint of very light marking from removal from the inner sleeve when viewed under a very bright light source , retaining a very high gloss sheen to all sides.

Some  spindle marking.

PLAY GRADING.

The entire album has been play graded and plays beautifully and without fault.

Maybe very very slight background noise on lead in.

Remember this is the wide spine sleeve with the mono format album.

A full refund will be given if the buyer has a genuine problem with the item bought, that has not been mentioned in the description, and provided the item is returned within seven days of arrival to buyer with proof of delivery day.

If an item should be returned (not happened yet) proof of arrival date can be given by returning the item in it’s original packaging with the stamped postage label enclosed within.

Buyers failing to notify me of a problem within ONE week of item being delivered will not be eligible for consideration for a refund.

Buyers from outside the UK will have an extra week provided the buyer informs the seller within seven days of delivery.

Packaging.

The album and it’s outer sleeve will be separated when packaged to prevent damage to ether the vinyl or the sleeve, the vinyl will be placed into a new plain inner and the original inner will again be packed separately.

The complete package will then be placed into a plastic sleeve and then packed into a stiff card package and two stiffeners added.

The package will be clearly marked

FRAGILE PLEASE DO NOT BEND OR DROP.

Buyers address will be put on both sides of the package and also my own address just to be safe in case, god forbid the album was lost in the post.

(Up to now this has not happened)

Up to now none of my items have ever been returned with any complaints, and I do try to be as honest as possible with my descriptions and gratings.
