THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS STILL SOLID WITH SHINY BRIGHT COLOURS.IT HAS SOME MINOR CREASING TO THE FRONT MAINLY HANDLING MARKS ON THE EDGES.HAS SOME CORNER BUMPS AND THE SPINE IS CREASED BUT IS STILL FULLY READABLE.THE INSIDE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE REAR LYRIC SHEET IS ALSO NICE AND BRIGHT WITH MINIMAL CREASING AND EDGE WEAR. THERE IS NO WRITING OR DAMAGE TO AFFECT THE TEXT.WOULD GRADE VERY GOOD PLUS.
THE LABELS ARE SUPERB.MINIMAL SPINDLE LINES AND WEAR AROUND HOLE(SEE PHOTOS) NO DAMAGE OR PEN MARKS,EASILY GRADE EXCELLENT.
THE VINYL HAS STILL KEPT A MIRROR LIKE GLOSSY SHINE AND ONLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT CAN YOU SEE THE ODD SLEEVE REMOVAL MARK AND VERY LIGHT HAIRLINE.IT IS A VERY SMART LOOKING VINYL AND IT WOULD GRADE EXCELLENT - VISUALLY.
THE PLAYBACK IS OVERALL EXCELLENT WITH NO SKIPS OR STICKS ETC. I HEARD A FEW LIGHT CLICKS AT THE VERY END OF "FIXING A HOLE" AND A BIT OF LIGHT CRACKLE IN A COUPLE OF THE QUIETER AREAS BUT A GREAT LISTEN.OVERALL I WOULD GRADE THE VINYL VG+.
THE ORIGINAL PSYCH/FLAME INNER IS STILL IN GREAT SHAPE AND HAS NO SEAM SPLITS BUT DOES HAVE A TINY TEAR AND LIGHT WEAR OF THE OPENING EDGE.IT ALSO HAS SOME AGE DISCOLOURING AND SOME MINOR MARKS SO GRADES VG+.
THE CUT OUT INNER IS STILL SOLID BUT HAS A COUPLE OF MARKS SO ALSO GRADES VG+.
A GREAT COMPLETE FIRST PRESS AND MY LARGER PHOTOS DONT HIDE ANY DEFECTS SO HAVE A GOOD LOOK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
GRADING
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
