RECORD COMES IN A 'HI-GRADE' MFSL PVC INNER SLEEVE (FOR PROTECTION)
- ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING
- THIS IS NOT A REISSUE, OR COUNTERFEIT PRESSING.
- ORIGINAL, THICK CARDBOARD COVER (AMERICAN STYLE).
- BEAUTIFUL, WEAR-FREE CAPITOL MONO LABELS (please see pictures)
CONDITION OF THE RECORD:
(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, we grade ALL records under a strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight).
- WE GRADE THE VINYL AS EXCELLENT (STRONG VG++; with NO real scratches seen). Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL marks...mostly sleeve scuffs, with each side showing a minimum of 'surface graying'//and minimum of 'hair-like' (very light surface) sleeve-scuffs seen under bright light only, a few of these surface paper sleeve-scuffs (minimum only) may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters). Side 2, cut 1, shows a very thin 'gray' line around half its ending perimeter (seen under bright light ONLY). These DO NOT affect audio play. NO BACKGROUND NOISE heard when play graded. . Beautiful, wear-free 'mono' labels.
- The record is pressed on a beautiful high quality, semi-flexible vinyl. Usually, the sound on such vinyl pressings is full-bodied, bright and rich in quality.
- The original luster is very much intact; the vinyl shows much of it's original shine.
Ringo was quoted saying; "It was our GREATEST endeavor! It was being a band!"
CONDITION OF THE 'GATEFOLD' COVER:
THE 'MONO' 'MARKED' COVER IS VERY GOOD+; GRADED VG+
The following flaws or imperfections are found on the cover:
- Cover shows the smallest amount of corner wear (NOT significant). On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of corner wear as a 1 .
- Cover shows little storage 'gray/fading' wear - not significant. On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of 'gray/fading' wear as a 2 (front) and as a 2> (back).
- Cover (seam, spine), shows little 'peeling' wear (little clear scotch tape used to help, done very well). On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of seam, spine wear as a 3>.
- Cover (inside gate-fold), shows a small beginning split (probably 1 inch long; 1 inch = 2.5 centimeters).
- Cover shows a bit of 'very thin insignificant surface wear'/two very small surface marks/small dents~not significant (probably from storage over the years). On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of 'surface' wear as a 2>.
- Cover (insert ~ Sgt. Pepper 'Cut Outs'), in excellent condition (please see picture below).
