Description

This must be the best condition mono 1st Pressing of Sgt. Pepper on ebay. And it is the rarer version with the wide spine and upside down print.
All original with the red sepia inner sleeve and cutout card.
The vinyl is superb and would be classed as mint except for a 1cm hairline on side 2. This does not affect playing of the record at all.
The audio is amazingly clear with no hissing or static.
It also has the laminated gatefold sleeve with just a hint of laminate creasing by the opening
The original red sepia inner sleeve is also present, again in superb condition. There is a 4cm slit at the base where the record has worn through. The cut out card is near mint with sharp corners and no creases.
The rarer wide spine is clean and straight but there is a little foxing at the top and bottom corners. The upside down print is complete on the spine.
The labels are clean with just a few spindle marks. I have never seen a better original 52 year old pressing. On Parlophone PMC 7027. Released in 1967.
