Description

The Beatles "Something New, Parlophone U.K. export, CPCS 101.

First pressing STEREO, release 1964. Front laminated flipback sleeve with mid-sized “STEREO” on the front. Black & yellow label with “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” perimeter print. MISPRINT! First label variation with error “SOLD IN U.K...”. How many of these copies were made is not known, the error was corrected very quickly. The records housed in original tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Extremely rare copy! Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEEX 7-B12; Side 2: YEEX 8-B12.
