Description

The Beatles,   Sergeant Pepper LP.              UK Parlophone Records PMC 7027 MONO FIRST PRESSING, 1967, with disc matrix numbers XEX 637-1 / 638-1.        The FULLY LAMINATED gatefold sleeve, (WITH THE RARE 'FOURTH PROOF' TEXT ON THE INSIDE COVER, DENOTING THE VERY FIRST SLEEVE PRESSING RUN), has a few light creases, some spine wear & a 3 cm tear on the back opening, otherwise in decent condition, with partly clear spine text, a clean inside cover (with top 'flipbacks') & the back cover with lyrics is also clean..….. there is small pen marking on side one label, otherwise both labels are clean .....… the disc is in pretty poor condition, unfortunately, with notable scratches particularly on side two, & will play with some crackle & skips........ overall, a reasonable, perhaps just about playable original UK disc, with a very acceptable copy of the rare sleeve.
