Description
The Beatles original vinyl album.
Please note:
98% of this plays really well and still sounds great. It has a few minor issues as follows: A side: One minor click to "getting better", light crackle between two tracks, a few consecutive (per revolution) very light and minor clicks to "She is leaving" (hard to hear and caused by a small scratch). This side does not stick or jump.
B side: Very minor crackle to the beginning of the 1st track, one pop to the end of "Within without you" followed by two minor pops to the beginning of the next tack "When I'm sixty four" and this track has the odd bit of light crackle, again this side does not stick or jump.
1st Pressing - Mono. KT tax code embossed on B side label.
Record no: PMC 7027. Titled: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Date: 1967. Tracks: See photos.
Matrix nos: YEX 637 -1............Stamper: Been over stamped hard to read YEX 638-1.............Stamper: Been over stamped hard to read
The outer fully laminated gatefold sleeve (with internal flipbacks) is in excellent condition, with a touch of light ringwear to the rear edges, some minor scuffing to the spine edge (still readable), two small and light creases to the rear and the tips of the corners have some light scuffing, this is still nice and clean, with a really nice interior (has minor scuffing to the internal flipbacks), no major laminate wear and no major creasing.
The vinyl is in VG condition with some signs of play, has a few light surface marks and does show a few light scratches, one of which can be felt (see above for how it plays) and this still has a good sheen, the Parlophone record labels are clean and readable showing some spindle wear, comes with it's original dark green cut-out which is near mint (no creasing, nice and clean) and with it's original flame inner which is okay but does have a split to two sides.
Overall a played and still more than playable example.
