Description
Unique one of a kind pressing featuring alternate mixes Very very rare on off pressing from the Sergeant Pepper album session. One of the greatest records by one of the greatest bands of all time. Innovations & experimentation making this one of the most influential records ever made. This acetate gives a glimpse into the making of this great record. There is nothing else like it in existence, it is a one of a kind. Side one starts with Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band into a little help. Vocals on pepper are mixed down in the second verse & return with a blistering Paul vocal on the third verse. Different mix. A little Help is a totally different mix. Sounds like they are mixing from stereo to mono or vice a versa. Lucy in the Sky follows with a different mix as well. Vocals & bass line are mixed down front. Side two begins with different animal noises & a brief good morning, good morning that mixes straight into A Day in the Life. Totally different mix. I think they were trying the idea of starting the song that way like Good Morning is an intro to Day in the Life. This piece is in really great condition solid VG+ or better. It was found in a storage facility in Cali among a large Beatles collection featuring original dolls. Signatures, memorabilia & rare records. This would be an awesome addition to a Beatle collectors collection. Very reasonable reserve on this. Good Luck.
