Beautiful copy of the original 1965 Los Angeles mono pressing of The Beatles' Something New LP on Capitol T-2108. Original rainbow labels with the LA asterisk in the runoffs. The disc is just beautiful and plays near flawlessly. There are some light marks, more on side one than two, but they don't affect the play at all. Some of the marks are just those spots and streaks that come from the acid in the paper sleeve, and are not at all damage. The little hairlines and sleeve scuffs are entirely superficial and don't make any sound. There is barely the tiniest crackle at all, even between songs. It really plays beautifully. The cover is lovely as well, with only a faint ring and light corner wear. There is a seam split at the center of the spine (see photo) but it isn't bad. Really this is a beautiful original mono copy, and if you haven't heard it in its original mono, you are in for a treat. Really punchy and quite different from the more familiar stereo. A beautiful playing original, hard to top.
