Capitol Records - The "6000" Series - MONO - T-6054 - Canada

On the back is a history of the Beatles as well as biographical information of YOUR favorite Beatle!

Has been in my own personal collection since the 70's - I never bought any more Beatle stuff after 1980... it was just no fun without John.
So, I have personally had this album for more than 30 years and probably acquired it at one of the many Beatle conventions I used to go to.

High-Res images available upon request. (Apparent "discoloration" on the cover in the pictures is the reflection on the shrink wrap of the tree overhead when I took the photos.)

Twist and Shout was The Beatles' second album released in Canada by Capitol Records in mono (catalogue number T 6054). It consists of songs mostly drawn from Please Please Me, the first LP released in the United Kingdom. Track listing: Side one - "Anna (Go to Him)" "Chains" "Boys" "Ask Me Why" "Please Please Me" "Love Me Do" "From Me to You" Side two - "P.S. I Love You" "Baby It's You" "Do You Want to Know a Secret" "A Taste of Honey" "There's a Place" "Twist and Shout" "She Loves You" Differences from Please Please Me: "I Saw Her Standing There" (the opening track of Please Please Me) and "Misery" were omitted from Twist and Shout. They both appear on the next Canadian LP release, The Beatles' Long Tall Sally. "From Me to You" and "She Loves You" were added to Twist and Shout. They were issued as the A-sides of singles in the UK.
