Well known and a big seller, this EP has a glorious cover shot of the lads playing around on a demolition site - what a brilliant photo!
This early Extended Play copy 45 was an unusual pressing, their first and already a glaring typo!
There was a mistake in the typesetting on some first lables, with "DO YOU WANT A KNOW A SECRET" as a song title.
A few of the new lables had the error in the song title which SHOULD have read 'DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET' as it's sung!
However, the mistake wasn't immediately noticed.
Indeed the majority of copies have the correct text, making this a rare edition. The estimate might be 40 correct lables to every 1 mis-printed issue. It's also very difficult to find in this condition!
For auction here is a very nice original copy bearing the "PARLOPHONE CO. LTD" perimeter text, KT tax code letters - with a lovely bright clean sleeve - worthy of being framed!
CONDITION;
The VINYL is EXCELLENT+ and plays superbly, with an excellent shine and no scratches or scuffs.
ThevLABLES are EXCELLENT with the 'K T' tax code on side 2.
Laminated flipback tabs Cover is VG++, a little laminate separation, no real signs of aging and lovely bright white rear.
A cool rare collectable copy on this classic EP
