On both sides all musical & vocal passages play clearly & brightly.
There are no sticks, jumps or skips and no evidence of any groove wear at all. There is a little quiet, surface noise in the run ins and between tracks.
The vinyl has a nice sheen to both sides.
When tilted under normal lighting both sides have a few light marks visible, which includes a needle line on side 2 that runs from the middle of track 3 at about 2 o'clock to the middle of track 3 at about 12 o'clock.
When tilted under halogen lights both sides have a few more short, light marks visible.
Sleeve grades as VG-.
Overall, not too bad an example. The images are clean and bright with the front having almost no rubbing and the b&w pictures on the rear only a little. There is a name hand written in the bottom, left corner if the back of the sleeve.
Like many USA sleeves of this era there a splits in the edges.
These are as follows: Top edge: none; Bottom edge: 4cm. from the opening & 10 cm. from the bottom of the spine. The spine: 9cm. from the top & 15 cm. from the bottom.
Olive green Capitol LP advertising inner sleeve (Code PE-2ES) grades as VG-.
Has 10 cm. splits in the centre of each side & the bottom edge.
I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.
