Description

1960s recorded Beatles two-LP set commonly known as, "The White Album." This one is the hard to find 1985 German 'Direct Metal Mastering' audiophile pressing on the Apple label 1C 172-04 173. This unique set has the white vinyl records. Includes 4 individual photos of the band members and a large foldout poster which shows interesting photos and song lyrics. “No. 110683” imprinted on the bottom right front corner of the cover. “The BEATLES” is embossed on the front cover and round black sticker with text “ ”Pressung WEISS” Direct Metal DMM Mastering” in the top left. The back of the cover has the Catalog # of “1C 172-04 173/74 Stereo”. “EMI” embossed on the bottom right corner on the cover.

Vinyl records: all in very good condition. Side 2 has a slight scratch and Side 3 has 2 small scratches. None of these scratches are deep. Purchased these from a friend and don’t appear to have been played or just a few times. Both records are housed in their original poly-lined inner sleeves.

Cover and sleeves: the gatefold cover is in very good condition. There is just a slight 'pressure wrinkle' in the upper-left corner of the front side otherwise no splits, tears, writing, or stains. Just normal patina color change overall on the cover and on one of the sleeves.

Inserts: photos and posters have no tears or stains. In near mint condition.
