About This Items
- The Beatles' White Album is a double album released on November 22, 1968. In Japan, it was released by Toshiba Music Industries under the catalog numbers AP-8570 and AP-8571. The red record (commonly known as the "red record") is particularly highly valued among collectors. Main features: Record: A red double record with stereo sound. Jacket: Gatefold design with serial number printed on it. The first pressing has a serial number starting with "A", and four-digit numbers are particularly rare. Accessories: Includes a poster with lyrics, portraits of the four members, and a black inner sleeve. Market value: The market price of this red record varies depending on its condition and whether or not it has accessories. For example, those with four-digit serial numbers and complete obi and supplementary slips tend to be traded at high prices. On auction sites, it can be traded for several thousand yen to tens of thousands of yen depending on its condition. As such, the rarity and unique features of the first Japanese red edition of The White Album have made it an extremely valuable item for Beatles fans and record collectors.
