ALBUM PLAYED FOR GRADING:

Yes – brilliant! - Strong Clear sound quality throughout - NEAR MINT

These rare vinyls play with Strong Clear Audio. Strong, undistorted sound free of ANY clicks or distortion. 

The record plays with staggering power, with a minimum of surface sound during the tracks. There is occasional static background sound but it is not dominant. Great audio with minimal interference to distract form the overly enjoyment of this great record and hardly any surface or static noise between the tracks. 

The music jumps out, with definition and clarity, particularly on the percussion instruments, and vocals which come through with tremendous power. As is the same with the bass guitar and drums, whilst the guitars come through crisp and clear. The records do play with occasional light background hiss, and the occasional static tic, but any such sounds are light and in no way dominant or continuous with NO prominent sounds defects.

I have given these vinyls a NEAR MINT grading. There are NO light tics, NO repeating clicks or pops. The whole the album plays with great sound and no continuous or prominent interruptions. These records really do play with Strong clear Audio, amazing clarity, definition and sound separation, and NO distortion what so ever. SUPERB!

THE RECORD - Visual Grading - EXCELLENT

A superb set of glossy vinyls, and a really thick pressing. Deep clear grooves that can only be found on the original early pressings, this vinyl has been little played. It does have some faint hairlines, but the are very light and have no effect on the sound. They have been played, but carefully and show no groove wear.

A great all round Complete and Rare example of this BEATLES MASTERPIECE

Super Clear MONO mix, which packs amazing drive and punch.

The Beatles, later known as the White Album, had over a quarter of a million advance orders, and of course went straight to number 1. This was the first double album EVER to get to the top slot where it stayed for 7 weeks in a row. It sold so many, that once again The Beatles also made the singles chart, consequently the ONLY double album to ever enter that chart. By the end of the year, just over a month later, the white album had sold over 4,000,000 copies worldwide, and by the end of 1970 global sales were around 6.5 million. At that time this was the biggest selling double album of all time.

The sleeve design was by Richard Hamilton, who suggested the minimalistic approach and the consecutively numbered sleeves which would give a limited edition feel to it. Richard also came up with the montage idea for the large free poster, which included the lyrics on it's rear. The four free colour prints were taken by John Kelly.

THE COVER – EXCELLENT PLUS

Comes with the original TOP Loading NUMBERED Gatefold Sleeve by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE. Superb example, a UK ORIGINAL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE gatefold cover, crisp and clean, and extremly white!

A numbered pressing, it is made in the medium thick card and is fully laminated with the title THE BEATLES is embossed under the laminate. Relatively LOW Number 0172223 .

Only slight defects are some light laminate creases and indentations as shown clearly in the image. This really is  a nice cover, with little to fault it, other than some very light handling marks and absolutely minimal corner wear. I would say that this is a wide spine edition, but the spine has been rather flattened in the manufacturing process. 

The cover has maintained its creamish white sheen, and light wear.  There is no feathering to the Top openings, which is very rare. Easily grades as EXCELLENT PLUS!

THE LABELS - EXCELLENT PLUS

Famous Apple labels are in GREAT Condition, no marks or discernible  spindle wear.  Great all round examples, with some light spindle traces only!

THE INNERS

A very nice example. Large original Lip Stick PHOTO-MONTAGE and LYRIC SHEET, 57 x 87 cms in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. This poster does have a few small seem tears, and some light wear on the edges. There are no stains or discolouration, No tears, no writing, no pin-holes, no glue or sellotape marks.

Comes with all Four Photos which are in EXCELLENT Condition. all Four Prints, 20 x 29 cms, on the original Thick Card. - No tears, no writing, no pin-holes, no glue or sellotape marks. 

Also comes with the ULTRA RARE PHOTO SPACER. IN EXCELLENT PLUS condition, very light creasing only.

VINYL SOUND - PLEASE NOTE:

Top quality vinyl with clear sound is rare, and is what I always aim for. Even with the cleanest copies you will find occasional static sound during playback, caused by a build of dust in the grooves. This is clearly different from the distortion, loud pops or clicks that are found on heavily played and worn pieces of vinyl. Any static build up will reduce when played, and I advise a light clean should be given between plays for optimal performance.

MY RECORD GRADING SYSTEM IS AS FOLLOWS - (BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE U.K. )

MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.

FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
