THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM - MONO
1968 MONO FIRST PRESSING PMC 7067/8 WITH SERIAL NUMBER 0065982.*
With 22 inch x 33 inch colour poster one side / Song titles and lyrics other side
*Identifying marks - as defined by Rare Record Price Guide 2018 edition. See image 3.
Disc is in Excellent condition. There are a number of faint spindle marks, but no spindle hole damage.
Faint crackling can be heard between tracks and on quiet passages, but not unexpected considering the age. Worthy of the Excellent rating. All four sides have been test played, 06/Aug/2018, with 0.5gm stylus pressure. There are no loud clicks, or groove jumps. (Cry Baby Cry has some louder crackles through the middle of the track). Side 1 has a long stylus mark, lengthways across the first two tracks, but it isn't detrimental to the overall quality. Side three has a stylus slip mark fro the edge to the centre, which can be seen under a strong light, but is barely audible.
The inner sleeves are in good condition, although there is a split along one edge of one sleeve. Repairable.
The Album sleeve is in excellent condition, with minor scuffing along the edges. But it is very clean, considering it's age. (50 years)
The poster has not survived the years, very well. It was pinned to a wall for many years and moved from home to home, until it fell apart. The repair job wasn't very subtle, but, apart from the panels separating, there is very little tearing and damage. One side of the poster is a montage of band photos. The reverse side contains all the track lyrics.
THIS IS A GENUINE FIRST PRESSING OF THE MONO ALBUM AS CERTIFIED BY THE SERIAL NUMBER.
I WAS ONLY ABLE TO UPLOAD 12 PHOTOS. IF ANY FURTHER INFO IS REQUIRED, PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA THE EBAY LINK.
