RECORD DETAILS

The records have been play tested and are on average in VG + condition visually and sound excellent. You will hear occasional crackling sounds here and there, but not much more, no pops or tics.  Side three I would grade as VG and side four as EX visually.

All Labels are in EX condition; some spindle marks can be seen under light.

SLEEVE DETAILS

The numbered sleeve 0545347 is the iconic top-loading version by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd. It is in EX condition. The embossed “BEATLES” and number are nice and clean. The sleeve retains a bright white colour and the laminate has remained mostly intact except at the tips where usual usage can be found. The spine is in excellent condition and the titles remain intact, as seen in the photographs. The openings are nice and crisp. Slight ring wear can be noticed.

The only issues with sleeve are the following: A slight thumb crease can be found at the top right corner on the back sleeve (near the stereo stamp), causing some slight laminate peeling. Some creasing towards the top inside centre of the fold can be found caused by the aforementioned crease near the stereo area.  

ACCESSORIES

The original black inner sleeves are good condition; there are some rips around the perimeter.

The photos are in excellent condition, except the one with George, which is in very good condition.

The poster has some use and tape residue, I would rate it as very good.

All postage is recorded and tracked for delivery. For international buyers, please select one of the two shipping options. Economy can take up to six weeks to arrive. Unfortunately, shipping is very expensive from Canada. The records will be placed outside the sleeve; the whole package will be reinforced with cardboard and for extra protection.

I base my grading on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
