Some general remarks: The one and only true first pressing of this landmark album with the "top opener" numbered Sleeve. Both records are in unbelievable clean condition.
I grade my records on top notch equipment, using the expensive Lyra Kleos MC-cartridge. It reveals everything from any Vinyl which sometimes can be a curse, especially with 40+ year old records. When I grade a record as Excellent, I am pretty sure many other sellers would not hestitate to call it Near Mint. When I give a record the "Near Mint" grading it is practically flawless. I am collecting Vinyl since 35+ years and own hundreds of records from the day they came into the shops. I clean all records on my Keith Monks RCM II and add the Nagaoka N102 protective sleeve to each record.
The Vinyl: NEAR MINT
The surfaces are clean and shiny. A few wispy hairlines when held into strong light. Playback is loud, vibrant and dynamic. No scratches, clicks or pops, Fantastic. They don't come any better.

The laminated Gatefold-Sleeve: EXCELLENT
As far as this Sleeve is rare as hen's teeth I want to describe it more than accurately, so here we go: It has some very mild yellowing from age (this white Sleeve normally is a nightmare to preserve). Top-Opener, Band Name embossed, Inside flipped back on left and right hand side. A very tiny crease on upper left and 4 very tiny spots on lower right (near the number). No splits, no tears, no laminate creases (!) and the faintest edge rubbing on top. Inside very clean, mild yellowing from age. Strong spine. I doubt there is a better one out there.
Original Black Inner Sleeves: EXCELLENT
One tiny bottom split on one sleeve, one tiny tear on top of the other. Mild creasing/ringwear. Clean.
Original Picture Cards of the Band Members: EXCELLENT
Just a few "age" spots around the edges, no creases, no rips, no tears.
This is a real beauty and very scarce, a truly very 1st UK-pressing and highly recommended.

I pack my records professionally in stiff record mailers leaving the Vinyl (housed in Nagaoka anti-static bags) outside the Sleeve.
