Okay Beatles fans, here is your opportunity to pick up one or more unopened or unplayed albums – real vinyl from the 70s – featuring the lads from Liverpool. Here is the story behind the 14 Beatles albums I am listing on ebay… In the mid-1970s, my family had a record store and my dad always tried to keep a selection of Beatles albums in the inventory. When he sold the store, he bought all the Beatles albums that were in the store and put them away – unopened in his personal collection. A few months later, he came home one day to find my little sister in his collection going through and opening every sealed album as she wanted to see inside the albums and see if they had any posters, etc. She had not gotten to all the albums when he found her. She was sent on her way with the instructions to never touch his record collection again. So the bottom line is that some of these albums are still factory sealed and the others that were opened have never been played – virgin vinyl!!! I don’t believe the records had even been pulled from the sleeves until I did it to take photos of them. This particular auction features The Beatles no name double White Album on Capitol Records. This one is opened and does not have any of the plastic shrink wrap and due to the white cover, shows shelf ware from being stored with the other albums while moving around the country. However, because it is opened, I can tell you that it includes the insert big poster and individual band member paper reproduced photos as shown in the photos with the listing. I’m sure true Beatles fans like yourselves will know more about these than I do, but if you have any questions, let me know. There is no Buy It Now price for these listings.
