Vinyl-  Excellent+

 

Vinyl has a lovely sheen with just a few visible hairlines on both sides but these are fine, non-feelable. Otherwise, just some wispy sleeve removal lines.

 

Audio – Near Mint

 

Audio is clean, bright and distortion free. Just the most minimal background noise to run in/run off and between tracks. Beautiful sounding vinyl. Hard to find a better sounding copy. 

 

Labels– Excellent+

 

Labels are in beautiful condition with just some spindle wear to each side. Rim text starts "the Gramophone company.." Has the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre and KT stamps to Side 1.

 

Sleeve- Excellent

 

The Garrod & Lofthouse 'patents pending' sleeve is also in lovely condition. Smaller Stereo on the front cover. A few light creases to the laminated front cover mainly to towards the spine and edges, with just two thumbnails towards the opening edge. Otherwise the front cover is in lovely condition. Spine is clean and fully readable with no laminate cracking. The rear cover is also in great conditionwith external flipbacks showing some dirt build up. Some very light age discolouration. Some storage wear to corners, particularly the the bottom opening edge.

 

Inner Sleeve– Very Good+

 

Generic plain white ‘patents pending’ sleeve.Some creasing and age discolouration, long split to one side.

 

 

OVERALL, A LOVELY EARLY STEREO UK PRESSING
