NOT ONLY IS THIS A VERY RARE EARLY STEREO VERSION(MONO OUTNUMBERED STEREO BY ABOUT 10 TO 1 BACK IN 1963)BUT IT ALSO HAS THE DOMION CREDIT ERROR (VERY RARE TO FIND ONE WITHOUT THE CORRECTED DOMINION.MUS CREDIT FOR "YOU REALLY GOT A HOLD ON ME")THIS ONE ALSO COMES WITH THE MUCH DARKER SLEEVE AND WAS QUICKLY CORRECTED AND MADE MUCH LIGHTER, ADD TO THAT THE FACT THAT IT IS IN STUNNING CONDITION AND YOU HAVE A REALLY SPECIAL COPY.
THE VINYL GRADES EX+
Pristine, deep-gloss unworn playing surfaces which appear unmarked in strong daylight and bear just a few harmless light inner-sleeve removal marks when viewed under a strong halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well-looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
The audio as you would expect was superb.It is warm and full throughout without any background disturbance.Even the run ins were silent on my system!
THE LABELS GRADE EX-
Both are clean and bright with a moderate collection of spindle trails on each label and a light scratch at the top of side 2.
THE SLEEVE GRADES EX
These early press sleeves were made from very thin card and so not many have lasted the test of time very well but this is definately one of the better ones I have seen.It also has the darker front image than other later editions.I have tried to show the full true condition in the photos but by doing this the flash can make it appear worse than in normal light.There is some light edge creasing and wrinkling of the laminate.There is also some slight open edge ware and corner ware.The rear has some light age toning but is free from any damage or graffiti.The spine is sharp and all the flipbacks are solid.There are no seam splits or scuffs
THE INNER SLEEVE GRADES EX-
The emitex inner sleeve remains white with no splits,tears or ageing.It has slight creasing and it still has the stereophonic tape that was used to seal it when it was new!
YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT WITH YOUR PURCHASE.I HAVE SENT VINYL ALL ROUND THE WORLD AND ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT FEEDBACK!
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
