Description
1968 Apple Records SWBO-101, this is an original US pressing - NOT a reissue - of the classic slef titled 2 LP set from The Beatles, commonly referred to as "The White Album". This is an original US pressing with the "Capitol Records" notation at the bottom of the labels on sides 2 and 4, in addition to the numbered embossed jacket (this one is #0354756). Gatefold jacket is in EX condition. This one is always hard to grade, as it shows ring wear so readily. That said, there is some light ring wear/rubbing, minor edge rubbing (no splits), and some signs of handling - a few small indentations here and there. It is still clean and crisp, but not NM. Both LP's are a shiny NM-/EX, with a few minor paper marks and a couple of small hairlines on each side. None of the marks feel to the touch and playback is strong throughout; all labels are crisp with no spindle wear. Four heavy paper color photos of the band are included in NM condition - including the original colored paper that separates the photos. Large fold open lyric poster is also included in EX- condition, showing some general handling, original fold lines, and minor stress marks/creases. Overall, one of the spare copies I have come across in a long while. Buyer pays $9.50 shipping in the US, $20.00 airmail overseas. I accept Paypal & US Postal Money Orders. Thanks for looking and good luck!
