THE BEATLES – White Album 2xLP Essential Beatles HEAR Audio VG++ True 1st press
From 1968, when the band were really starting to open up (and break apart?), so many great songs on this one, including “Back In The U.S.S.R.”, “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”, “Happiness Is A Warm Gun”, “Martha, My Dear”, and so many others. Steeped in controversy, towards the end, this really is Essential Beatles. I love McCartney’s “Blackbird”. Check the youtube audio below, from another copy.
True original Australian stereo pressing (PCSO-7067-8) with gatefold cover, embossed lettering, and openings at the top of the gatefold. Includes the 4 original photographs and double-sided poster with song lyrics. First pressings are numbered on the front individually to each copy, this one is No. 77064.
Cover: VG+
(light ring wear and some chipping to the spine, but nice, no splits)
Record: first three sides are VG++ side 4 is VG+
(generally the vinyl is excellent looking and sounding, no marks, with an occasional faint tick or surface noise audible. On the opening of “Revolution 1″ (about 20 seconds) there is surface noise that competes with the music. The rest of the side is VG++
