Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

Classic UK EMI 1968 Sold In UK Apple labels!!! All sides are ok with minimal signs of age NO writing!!! Just has a sticker tear to the top of two labels from where a name tag was once removed and spindle marking from general use over the years!!! OK for a 54 year old record!!! All must grade overall at least as Fair!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Original 1968 UK Apple Vinyls!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if they were just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, they look GREAT with NO really nasty scratches OR nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with smoothness of play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, sticks OR skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has a touch of low level static in places such as on the run in grooves, a few light ticks on occasions and the odd light hiss, only a hint of frequency crackle here and there on rare occasions (mild and nothing drastic), a touch of mild "bluesman's fag" crackle in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections and between tracks, but it really doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! (it's much more soft and atmospheric rather than the sound of bacon frying!!!) I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! I tend to bring it down by listing every single flaw I noticed, but this remains a hugely enjoyable and clean sounding listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably at the least as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original UK 1st press top-loading numbered (0260160) laminated gatefold G&L sleeve complete with both original  unsplit black inners (fantastic with just a couple of usual little minor handling tears to the centre circles, no seam splits whatsoever), all 4 photos (in fantastic clean shape with no pin holes, just a little creasing to the corner tips) and fold out poster (AWESOME clean condition with only two small little edge splits to the edge of just one of the seam folds to show of it’s five and a half decades)!!! A truly BRILLIANT set!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks AWESOME, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO splits, NO bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a small amount of ageing such as some light laminate creasing and a touch of a record imprint, a minor little storage tear to the top centre of the front and just one or two minor storage scuffs and the lightest general mild storage glazing to the laminate visible in ultra strong light (minimal and nothing drastic at all, remarkably bright after all these years), some denting/rounding to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing every negative I can find, but this remains a BRILLIANT bright sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as awesome as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, bright and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit, and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : A GREAT complete earliest matrix example of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic 1968 UK Mono LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS AWESOME AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
