THE BEATLES: YESTERDAY EP FIRST PRESS. Tested. Sleeve & Audio Excellent..
Parlophone GEP 8948, released in March 1966.
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. ‘Gramophone Co’ perimeter print, with publishing year printed as (p) 1965, with ‘Sold In U.K. Matrix Numbers 7TCE 894-1 & 895-1. KT tax code embossed to side 2.
PLAY TESTED MARCH 12TH. ABSOLUTELY NO SKIPS, JUMPS OR STICKING. EXCELLENT AUDIO.
Audio: Excellent.
Other than a little crackle/surface noise on intro/between tracks, the audio really is excellent.
Vinyl Appearance. Excellent
If it wasn’t for a slight mark near the run-in on side 2, I’d describe the visual appearance of the vinyl as near mint. There are no other marks/hairlines etc. Superb.
Sleeve: Excellent.
The sleeve is as good as the vinyl. Excellent. Some minor creasing to front panel top right, and some faint ringing. The rear panel is beautifully clean, with the flip-backs superbly defined.
Labels. Excellent.
The labels are bright, clean, graffiti free, with just mild spindle ware, largely only visible under angled light. KT tax code embossed to side 2. Superb.

So in conclusion, this is a truly excellent first pressing of the Yesterday EP. Audio, sleeve, and vinyl all in superb condition, giving an overall grading of excellent.
