Description
The Beatles Yesterday and Today 2nd State Butcher Cover Stereo version ST 2553, released on Capitol Records in 1966. RIAA 2, this was pressed at the Scranton, Pennsylvania plant.
The ratio of mono to stereo is 1 stereo to every 10 mono records. Also, these 2nd state Butcher covers are becoming Increasingly rare as everybody is peeling the trunk covers off. Eventually, there will be no more 2nd state left.
**The cover itself is in very good condition, there is a bit of fraying at he very top. And someone wrote their name in the top right hand corner (I think that was quite a popular thing to do back in the sixties. I see a lot of albums from that era with names written on them!) The top and bottom seams are completely split (it would be a super easy fix) so that the album actually opens up like a book. The seam on the side is completely intact. However, you need to keep in mind that this record is 56 years old, so is very fragile anyway. The vinyl itself is in very very good condition.
