THE BEATLES please please me PARLOPHONE LP 5th press Mono PMC 1202!
Original UK LP with front laminated sleeve and back sleeve flip over edges, comes complete with the original EMITEX inner sleeve. Released in 1963, on the PARLOPHONE Label. Catalogue number: PMC 1202 (Mono).
Sleeve printed by Ernest J Day & Co, ltd. London, Wrap-around cover. Straight-cut corner.
Catalogue No. "PMC 1202" printed on upper right corner of the back cover.
"THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD. (capital letters)" printed at the perimeter.
"RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963" printed on labels.

Sleeve: VERY GOOD CONDITION
Overall a clean sturdy solid sleeve in VERY GOOD condition. Sleeve displays some slight/light record sleeve ring wear, some partial laminate dulling in places, some small laminate lifts/creases mainly evident on/near to the top and bottom edges, tiny edge knock on the bottom just below the 12, some wear to the top left hand corner (small portion of print/laminate affected), back sleeve lightly soiled and the bottom flip over edge has been cello taped to the sleeve (looks to have some edge fraying, but nothing missing). Displays no rips/tears, no seem splits, no writing and no deep lined sleeve creases. The original EMITEX paper/poly lined inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, lightly creased on the bottom corners and two small top edge seem splits, but no rips/tears or large splits.
Record: VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT CONDITION (*Plays EXCELLENT)
Record labels are in EXCELLENT, clean with a touch of spindle edge hole wear (A-side spindle rims is slightly raised and not flush), some light spindle hole marks are evident on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas retain the full original lustre on both sides, displays two visible smooth soft feather light surface scuffs on the A-side, one at 12 o’clock midway from track one to the end of track two and the other at 10 o’clock across track 2 and a touch on track three. In addition there are some small minimal soft feather light, fine line/hairline surface scuffs, which only show up/appear when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light. Graded visually as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT. *Record plays EXCELLENT both sides, emitting mainly a good clean sound with no loud or noticeable background crackles or clicks.
